“The overall theme of the record, as the title implies, is guilt,” said vocalist Josh Richter. “The guilt from the things I have done to myself and to the ones I love. It was my way of purging all the bad from inside of me which is also reflected in the religious imagery and writing that are scattered throughout the EP.

“From my heartache in ‘Suffer More’, the resentment in ‘Slow Death’, the pain in ‘Days of Torture’, and forgiveness in ‘Phantom Guilt’, I believe this record sums up perfectly how I was feeling at the time of conception.”

Phantom Guilt was tracked and mixed by Andy Nelson (Enfold Darkness, ex-Abysmal Dawn), and mastered by Daniel Colombo (Ether Coven). The album art was created by Sean Mundy. Pre-order Phantom Guilt on Bandcamp here and physically here.
